1. A free listing within the website shall consist of the Name of the Business, Address (location) of the Business, Telephone number(s) of the Business, Hours of Operation and a Brief Description (256 character) of the products, services or amenities related to that business.

2. Businesses shall be limited to free inclusion in up to three (3) relevant categories. Additional basic listings shall be available for a fee.

3. A free business listing does NOT include any photographs, logos or other graphical content.

4. Lodging listings are restricted to businesses who report and pay Hotel Occupancy Taxes.

1. A featured listing is an upgrade to a Free Listing with the addition of a link to the Business' website and/or an E-Mail address link (optional).

2. The upgrade will apply to all of the advertiser's Free Listings.

3. A Featured Listing does NOT include any photographs, logos or other graphical content.

1. A Display Ad may consist of a single graphical ad of a maximum size 600w x 180h pixels, at a resolution of 72 dpi.

2.  A Display Ad may consist of the Featured Listing text and up to (2) 150w x 80h pixels thumbnail images.

3.  A Display Ad may consist of individual graphics such as the company's logo and photos. The maximum space/size for the combined graphics and any text shall be 600w x 180h pixels.

4. Lodging display ads may also include the international symbols for amenities and activities from the following list:

4. In so far as a position at the top of the page will receive more viewings than ads lower on the page, the FIVE top of page positions are sold on a per/position scale of rates.

1. Sidebar ads are displayed vertically in the left and/or right hand column on most pages within the website.

2. Mechanical Size of these ads:  150w x 180h pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi.

3. Two consecutive ads on a web page may be combined into a single ad the size of which shall be: 150w x 360h.

4. In so far as a position at the top of a column will receive more viewings than ads lower on the page, the FIVE top of column positions are sold on a per/position scale of rates.   The order of ads within a column is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Until such time as the top 5 positions are sold, the non-premium placement ads within a column will be displayed in these positions.

1. Events are listed on our Festivals and Events pages and may be featured on our Home Page during the month leading up to the event.

2. ALL events sponsored by a Chamber of Commerce, Municipality or recognized Association will normally qualify for inclusion.

3. Lakes and Hills Publications reserves the right to NOT include any event, which, in its sole discretion does not constitute an Attraction that is likely to draw tourism traffic from outside of the Lakes and Hills region.
