Listing and Advertisement Specifications

 

BASIC LISTING (FREE) - To submit a listing go to our Listing Form.

1. A free listing within the website shall consist of the Name of the Business, Address (location) of the Business, Telephone number(s) of the Business, E-Mail Address of the Business, a link to the Business' website, Hours of Operation and a Brief Description (256 character) of the products, services or features related to that business.

2. Businesses shall be limited to free inclusion in up to three (3) tourism related categories. Additional basic listings shall be available for a fee

3. A free business listing does NOT include any photographs, logos or other graphical content.

4. Lodging listings may be restricted to multi-unit facilities as it is not the intention of the website to be a listing service for single family rental houses or condos. Should individual units be allowed, a requirement is that such property reports and pays Hotel Occupancy Tax to the State of Texas.

PREMIUM LISTINGS - To purchase a Premium Listing go to our Advertising Store.

1. A Premium Listing may consist of a single graphical ad of a maximum size 440w x 240h pixels, at a resolution of 72 dpi.

2.  A Premium Listing may consist of the Basic Listing text and up to (4) 110w x 80h pixels thumbnail images enlargable to 480w x 320w.

3.  A Premium Listing may consist of individual graphics such as the company's logo and photos. The maximum space/size for the combined graphics and any text shall be 440w x 240h pixels.

PREMIUM BUSINESS ADS - To see what ad space is available and what the counts are on the individual pages go to our Availability List.  To purchase a Premium Listing go to our Advertising Store.

1. Premium business ads are displayed vertically in the right hand column on most pages within the website.

2. Mechanical Size of these ads:  125w x 150h pixels with a resolution of 72 dpi.

3. Two consecutive ads on a web page may be combined into a single ad the size of which shall be: 125w x 320h.

4. In so far as some pages receive more traffic than others, and a position at the top of column advertisements will receive more viewings than ads lower on the page, these ads are sold on a per/position scale of rates (see Advertising Rates).
