BLACK ROCK STATE PARK - LAKE BUCHANAN

LCRA's Black Rock Park on Lake Buchanan is popular with campers, swimmers and boaters. The 10-acre park draws a good-sized, but manageable, crowd on summer weekends.

Boaters may launch from a free public ramp at Llano County Park next door. Swimmers plunge into the lake from the park's sandy beach. Ample shoreline provides excellent opportunities for bank fishing.

Cabins will sleep up to five in two sets of bunk beds, each cabin has electricity, an outside water spigot, heat and A/C, ceiling fan, front porch, picnic table, grill, and a campfire ring. Rest rooms and showers are available for park guests.
