LLANO TEXAS AND COLORADO RIVER BALD EAGLES
Texas Hill Country Photos and Information

Winter and early spring are dominated by some twenty-five American Bald Eagles that migrate to the Texas Colorado River Canyon for the winter.  Seeing these national symbols soaring through a crisp cloudless blue sky is a sight no one will ever forget.

Visits on rainy days offer spectacular views of the birds sitting majestically on their treetop perches.

Vanishing Texas River Cruise offers Eagle Cruises November - March. Cruise boats depart from Canyon of the Eagles  Lodge and Nature Park  on Lake Buchanan.
