GOLF COURSES IN THE HIGHLAND LAKES REGION OF CENTRAL TEXAS

Packsaddle Country Club features an  18 hole course   built in 1968 by Leon Howard. The course, on flat terrain and is easy to walk, making this a great course for beginning and average players. Water hazards come into play on nine holes.Trees are also prevalent throughout the course but the large landing areas give you plenty of opportunity to avoid them. Interestingly, another Howard trademark is bunkers, or more accurately, a lack of them. Put the sand wedge away and bring your ball retriever in its place.

The golf course at Packsaddle Country Club is open year round and tee times are accepted. Earliest tee time: 7:00 am.Metal spikes and fivesomes allowed. Greens and Fairways: Bermuda Grass.
