Bluebonnet Festival in Burnet Texas - a Texas Hill Country tradition each spring!

City of Burnet logo Burnet, Texas is officially recognized by the Texas legislature as the "Bluebonnet Capital of Texas". Each year, during the second weekend of April, Burnet celebrates the blooming of the wildflowers with a Bluebonnet Festival.

You are invited to come celebrate the arrival of spring and the beautiful Texas wildflower season! Share in the excitement of all the events of Burnet's Annual Bluebonnet Festival.

Festival Activities:

	Great Entertainment Don't miss the "shoot out" and wild west show with our own local cowboys, the Hill Country Gunfighters Association. When the Hill Country Flyer steam train arrives at the depot, vistitors are greeted by the the Gunfighters! Live Bands & Street Dance

	Fabulous Air Show Watch the exciting exhibitions by the Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force as they reenact a W.W.II arial battle.

	Opening Parade Featuring the Burnet Bulldog High School Band Pet Parade For kids & thier furry friends!
